Bi-Fold Doors

Warmcore

At the heart of WarmCore products is a thermal core which significantly out-performs the polyamide thermal breaks commonly used to reduce the threat of cold bridging on aluminium windows and doors. The result is an innovative “warm aluminium” frame construction, carefully dimensioned to provide an optimised 70mm front-to-back overall sash frame depth while ensuring market-leading thermal performance thanks to the multi-chambered insulating core.

Fully concealed multi-chambered cores substantially improve thermal performance when compared to thermally-broken aluminium doors:

U-value of 1.4 W/m2K with 28mm double glazing U-value of 1.0 W/m2K with 44mm Triple glazing

WarmCore has been designed from the ground up to offer market leading thermal performance, protecting against future tightening of Building Regulations. Using standard double glazing the WarmCore folding sliding door achieves a U-value of 1.5, with U-values as low as 1.0 achievable using 44mm triple glazing. The advantage against traditional aluminium doors is clear, with many struggling to meet current legislation.

UPVC Bi-Fold Doors

These versatile doors can be installed wherever you want to transform your home and enhance a conservatory, kitchen or living room. You could install bi-fold doors on your conservatory to open up the whole back elevation of your home for maximum light and space, or install them in your living room as an opening into your conservatory to create one large room.

Bi-fold doors allow the maximum use of space and glide along aluminium top and bottom tracks using stainless steel rollers – making opening and closing effortless. The versatility of our bi-fold doors allows many different configurations, with door leaves concertinaing to one or both sides. This allows you to select a door leaf on one side that opens like a normal entrance door, or two central leaves that open like French doors. You can even choose whether you want them to fold and stack inside or outside your home.

With a thickness of 48mm, they are nearly 10% thicker than most alternatives. Each unique solid timber core is completely encapsulated within a highly durable plastic edge banding and two thermo plastic door skins, so you will never have to worry about painting or varnishing
your Solidor. These doors are exclusively available in the widest range of styles and frame colour options, (17 colours available, please see page 10) with the option of

a mobility threshold, making it the perfect solution for easy wheel or push chair access.

A comprehensive range of matching combination frames are available with either glass, matching composite side panel or quarter panels, that will complement the look of any property.
